WFG Chino Pants (Sumi)

Raw silk fabric offers a unique, textured, slightly coarse feel with a matte sheen It is a very strong natural fiber that resist wrinkles better than many fabrics and provide a luxurious feel with excellent shape retention. Its unique properties keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter. Most people think of processed silk when they imagine silk fabric. Raw silk is not the same at all. It feels and looks completely different. Because it is a protein fiber, it takes natural dyes very well. 
 
This fabric is a solid mid-weight that is blended with cotton. It has been naturally dyed in Sumi ink at the factory...Then after construction of the pants have been completed, we give them another over-dye in the same natural Sumi ink. This results in a deeper tone. 
 
 
The design is based on 1940`s U.S. army chino trousers 
 
- Vintage Japanese button
- Hand stitched button hole with hemp thread
- Gusset on the inseam to expand the range of motion for legs
- Vintage YKK Japanese zipper fly
- 2 side pockets, 2 back pockets
